The Cameron LNG receipt terminal is situated along the Calcasieu Channel in Hackberry, LA. The terminal is capable of processing up to 1.5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per day, and can be expanded to process up to 2.5 Bcf per day.
Cameron LNG is 35 miles from a major pipeline hub that serves nearly two-thirds of all U.S. natural gas markets. The terminal includes three storage tanks and two unloading docks. Commercial operations began July 2009.
