Chilquinta

Sempra International owns Chilquinta, the third largest electricity distributor in Chile. Chilquinta and its affiliates serve approximately 600,000 customers in the cities of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar in central Chile.

Chilquinta’s area of operation covers 11,496 Sq. Km., providing services mainly in the provinces of San Antonio, Petorca, Valparaiso, San Felipe, Quillota and Los Andes.

Through its subsidiaries, Energia Casa Blanca, Litoral, Luz Linares and Luz Parral; power is also distributed to customers in regions V and VII of southern Chile.
